Scientific cooperation to support responsible fisheries in the Adriatic

AdriaMed is a regional project of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO). The purpose of the project is to promote scientific cooperation between the Adriatic countries (Albania, Montenegro, Croatia, Italy and Slovenia) in accordance with the Code of Conduct for Responsible Fisheries.

General Fisheries Commission for the Mediterranean

The Commission was established by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) in 1949. The purpose of the Commission is to promote the development, conservation, effective management and best use of living marine resources, as well as the sustainable development of aquaculture in the region.

Scientific, Technical and Economic committee

STECF is an advisory body to the European Commission set up by Commission Decision 2005/629 / EC of 26 August 2005.
