Fishing Districts of the Fisheries Research Institute of Slovenia

Fishing licenses for fishing in the fishing districts of the Slovenian Fisheries Institute are distinguished by the following criteria:

Type of fishing.
Fish species.
Number of fishing days.

Fishing licenses by type of fishing are for:

Catch and take - the fishing license allows the fisherman to take the fish with him.
Catch and release - the fishing permit obliges the fisherman to return the caught fish back to the water undamaged.

Fishing licenses are divided by number of fishing days into:

Daily- fishing license is valid on a particular day.
3-days - fishing license is valid for three consecutive and fixed days. 
7 consecutive days - fishing license is valid for seven consecutive and fixed days.
20-days - fishing license is valid for twenty days a year.
Annual fishing permit - unlimited number of fishing days per year.
