Boundary: Lake Cerknica from the source of Stržen until the meander in "Ključi"
Permitted fishing within the borders: Lake Cerknica from the source of Stržen to Ključi.
Permitted method of fishing:
-spinning with one artificial bait,
-coarse fishing - all natural baits are allowed in accordance with the Rules on the fishing regime in fishing waters (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No. 99/2007).
-Fly fishing - fly fishing and one artificial fly, and barbless hook.
-Pike fishing is allowed by spinning or fly fishing with single hooks.
Permitted daily catch: 1 pike or 1 tench or 1 chub or 2 carp (farmed) or rudd and perch up to a total weight of 5 kg.
Minimum size and fishing period:
- pike 70 cm, from 1.5. to 31.1.
- tench 30 cm, from 1.7. to 31.1.
- carp (farmed) 20 cm, from 1.7. to 31.1.
- chub 30 cm, from 1.7. to 31.1.
- Common rudd,
- Common perch without the minimum hunting size, from 1.5 to 31.1.
Type of fishing permits: Fishing permits are for 1 day and for all cyprinid districts for members and non members of the RZS.
