Within the framework of the upgrading of working tools, the Institute upgraded its driving park with the all-terrain vehicle Toyota Hilux. The all-terrain vehicle is intended fot transportation of the boat to differnet locations throughout Slovenia. And for transportation of equipment used by the experts of the research service.

For performing expert tasks on Slovenian rivers, the Institute's experts needed an appropriate boat, which is capable performing different tasks from the area of monitoring, electro-fishing and other tasks related to monitoring of the condition of fish population of inland waters. For this purpose a new boat, with an external engine which can be easily and quickly loaded and unloaded from the trailor, was purchased.
