The basis of the biological research is the collection of biological
data on fishing and other marine organisms, independent from fishing.
We
explore with rented fishing or research vessels, at which we use standardized
sampling methods, processing of biological material, and storing and processing
data.

The main purpose of the research is collection and
evaluation of data on life occurence and exploitation of demersal fishing
organisms in Slovenian Adriatic sea and also wider. The goal of individual
research are specified in detail further on.
