In waters of special significance,
fishing is allowed within a scope and in a way which does not influence the
favorable conditions of the level of how it preserves indigenous fishing
species or in any other way endangers the purpose for which the water was announced
for water of special significance.
The
Institute must regularly monitor the impact of fishing on the fish population.
In the case of a negative impact on the population of an indigenous fish
species, it has to properly adjust the manner of fishing management
implementation.

In accordance with the plan the following
sections of waters are assigned as fishing territories in the waters of special
significance:
- Lake
Cerkno from Stržena spring
to Retja,
- Iščica from the spring to the Hauptmance bridge,
- Kolpa from the dam in Slavski laz to the dam in
Dol,
- Koritnica from the bridge on the Bovec - Trenta
road to the Soča tributary,
- Krka from the spring to the dam in Zagradec,
- Krn Lake,
- Lepenja from the spring to the Soča tributary,
- Dead river branch - Ribče,
- Obrh from the spring to the Dane hollow,
- Radovna from the Srednja Radovnai bridge to Vintgar
Canyon,
- Sava from the confluence with the Ljubljanica to
the bridge in Litija,
- Sava Bohinjka from the bridge road before
Bohinjska Bistrica to the dam in Soteska,
- Soča from the bridge for Vrsnik in the village
Soča to the bridge in Čezsoča and,
- Unica
from the spring to the hollows.
