In the
framework of public responsibilities, the Fisheries Research Institute of
Slovenia is obliged to prepare different expert groundwork in fisheries as
follows:
- Designation of borders of fishing areas and
fishing territories,
- Determination
of borders of waters of special significance,
- Long-term program for freshwater fisheries,
- Awarding concessions, and
- Other
expert groundwork, important for freshwater fisheries.

Na podlagi 28. in 45.člena Zakona o sladkovodnem ribištvu (Uradni list RS, št. 61/2007) in Uredbe o koncesijah za izvajanje ribiškega upravljanja v Republiki Sloveniji (Uradni list RS, št. 80/2007) je Zavod za ribištvo Slovenije pripravil strokovne podlage za podelitev koncesij za izvajanje ribiškega upravljanja v 67. ribiških okoliših.
Strokovne podlage so skupaj z razpisno dokumentacijo objavljene na spletni strani Ministrstva za kmetijstvo gozdarstvo in prehrano.
